Peter Hook from New Order says that plans for a New Order box set and expanded reissues are on hold because the band members aren’t on the best of terms. Hooks says there’s wuite a few rarities available, especially live recordings from New Order’s very first concert in 1980 and songs left over from the Waiting for the Sirens’ Call sessions.

Peter Hook says Bernard Sumner is very reluctant to move forward on any archival projects, that Sumner dislikes the past (especially their live performance past).

In the meantime, Peter Hook is part of Freebass, a band he is part of with Andy Rourke (formerly of The Smiths) and Gary “Mani” Mounfield (formerly of Stone Roses and Primal Scream).
