February 12, 2008 will see the release of a 25th anniversary reissue of Thriller. This new release features new remixes of “Billie Jean” (remixed by Kanye West), “The Girl is Mine” (remixed by will.i.am), and “P.Y.T.” (remixed by Akon). There is also a new version of “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’,” which features Akon and will.i.am. There will also be the previously unreleased song “For All Time,” as well as the demo for “Billie Jean” and two rarities (“Someone in the Dark” and “Carousel”).

There is also a bonus DVD being issued with the album. It includes three music videos (“Thriller,” “Beat It,” and “Billie Jean”), as well as Michael’s performance of “Billie Jean” from the 1983 NBC special, Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever.
