Jack Johnson Spends Third Week Atop the Billboard Top 200

Jack Johnson’s Sleep Through the Static spends a third week at the top of the Billboard Top 200 album chart. The album sold 105,000 copies, which is a 42% sales decline from last week.
Alicia Keys’ As I Am moves up one spot to number two, selling 53,000 copies (which is a 51% sales decline). Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black falls one spot to number three, selling 52,000 copies (which is a 55% sales decrease).
The Kidz Bop 13 compilation album debuts at number four, selling 49,000 copies. The Step Up 2: The Streets soundtrack album moves up five spots to number five, selling 43,000 copies (which is a 6% sales decline from last week).
The Juno soundtrack holds steady at number six, selling 38,000 copies (which is a 28% sales decline). Sara Bareilles’ Little Voice shoots up fourteen spots to number seven, selling 37,000 copies (which is a 9% sales increase from last week).
Chris Cagle’s My Life’s Been a Country Song debuts at number eight, selling 37,000 copies. Mary J. Blige’s Growing Pains holds steady at number nine, selling 35,000 copies (which is a 28% sales decline from last week). And Taylor Swift’s self-titled album falls three spots to number ten, selling 33,000 copies (which is a 36% sales decline).
This week’s sales, which came out to 7.97 million units, are down 18.5% from last week. This number is also down 13.1% from the same week last year.
