The nominees for possible induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 have been announced. The nominees are: ABBA, The Chantels, Jimmy Cliff, Genesis, The Hollies, Kiss, L.L. Cool J, Darlene Love, Laura Nyro, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Stooges, and Donna Summer.
Only five of the nominees will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during the 25th annual induction ceremony that will take place on March 15, 2010 in New York City. The five inductees will be announced in December.
ABBA Museum Being Built in Stockholm December 11, 2007

Organizers for an ABBA Museum in Stockholm have unveiled drawings for the museum. The museum will chronicle the group’s journey to superstardom in the 1970s and their split in 1980. The group itself is not participating in the project; however, they have donated their costumes, as well as other material, for the exhibits.
The museum will be 70,000 square feet, and include a dance floor, recording studio and wardrobe for visitors to get a feel for what it was like to be an ABBA member. Organizers say karaoke singing of ABBA songs is also part of the museum experience.
The museum is scheduled to open with a five day festival that begins on June 3, 2009.
