Alicia Keys’ As I Am returns to the top of the Billboard Top 200 album chart, and is now spending its fourth non-consecutive week at number one. The album sold 61,000 copies, which is a 3% sales increase from last week.
The Juno soundtrack slipped one place to number two, selling 55,000 copies; this is a 15% sales decline. The Mars Volta’s The Bedlam in Goliath debuts at number three, selling 54,000 copies.
Bullet For My Valentine debuts at number four with Scream Aim Fire, selling 53,000 copies. The 2008 Grammy Nominees compilation album debuts at number five, selling 50,000 copies.
Mary J. Blige’s Growing Pains falls two spots to number six, selling 47,000 copies (this is a 4% sales increase from last week). The Hannah Montana 2: Non-Stop Dance Party debuts at number seven, selling 40,000 copies.
Keyshia Cole’s Just Like You holds steady at number eight, selling 36,000 copies (this is a 17% sales increase from last week). Taylor Swift’s self-titled album falls three spots to number nine, selling 36,000 copies (this is a 4% sales increase). Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana 2 soundtrack / Meet Miley Cyrus holds steady at number ten, selling 35,000 copies (which is a 19% sales increase from last week).
This week’s sales totaled 7.60 million units. This is up 4% from last week’s numbers, but down 18.9% from the same week last year. So far, 38.2 million units have been sold in 2008; however, this total is down 12% from the sum at this time last year.

Alicia Keys’ As I Am stays on top of the Billboard Top 200 album chart for a third non-consecutive week. The album sold 61,000 copies, which is a 14% sales decrease from last week.
The Juno soundtrack climbs one notch to number two, selling 58,000 copies (which is a 15% sales decline). Mary J. Blige’s Growing Pains moves up one spot to number three, selling 52,000 copies; this is a 19% sales decrease.
Radiohead’s In Rainbows falls two spots to number four, selling 46,000 copies (this is a 33% sales decline from last week). Raheem DeVaughn debuts at number five with Love Behind the Melody, which sold 45,000 copies in its first week of release.
Taylor Swift’s self-titled album falls one spot to number six, selling 34,000 copies; this is only a 2% sales decrease from last week. John Legend debuts at number seven with Live From Philadelphia, which sold 33,000 copies; this album is currently only available at Target and Target.com.
The Now 26 compilation album falls two spots to number eight, selling 30,000 copies (which is a 9% sales decline). Chris Brown’s Exclusive falls two spots to number nine, selling 29,000 copies (this is a 2% sales decrease from last week).
Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana 2 soundtrack / Meet Miley Cyrus climbs back up five spots to number ten, selling 27,000 copies (this is a 3% sales increase from last week).
Sales for this week totaled 6.98 million units, which is down 4% from last week; this is also down 9% from the same time last year.

Alicia Keys’ As I Am returns to the top of the Billboard Top 200 album chart, after selling 70,000 copies. However, this is a 38% sales decline for the album compared to last week.
Radiohead’s In Rainbows falls one spot to number two, selling 69,000 copies (which is a 44% sales decrease). The Juno soundtrack moves up five spots to number three, selling 68,000 copies (which is a 78% sales increase); this accomplishment makes the Juno soundtrack the highest charting album ever for Rhino Records.
Mary J. Blige’s Growing Pains falls one spot to number four, selling 64,000 copies (which is a 28% sales decline). Taylor Swift’s self-titled album holds steady at number five, selling 35,000 copies (which is a 26% sales decrease from last week).
The Now 26 compilation album falls two spots to number six, selling 33,000 copies (this is a 39% sales decline). Chris Brown’s Exclusive falls one spot to number seven, selling 30,000 copies (which is a 27% sales decease).
The Eagles’ Long Road Out of Eden moves up two spots to number eight, selling 29,000 copies; however, the album sold 20% fewer copes than last week. Garth Brooks’ The Ultimate Hits falls two spots to number nine, selling 28,000 copies (which is a 27% sales decrease).
And Fergie’s re-enters the top ten this week at number ten with The Dutchess, selling 28,000 copies. However, she experienced a 17% sales decline compared to last week.
Sales this week are down 20% from last week to 7.25 million units. Sales are also off 10% from the same week in 2007, when 8.09 million units were sold.

Alicia Keys’ As I Am debuts at the top of the Billboard Top 200 chart, selling 742,000 copies. Josh Groban’s Noel shot up four spots to number two, selling 223,000 copies (which is a 93% sales increase).
Celine Dion debuts at number three with Taking Chances, selling 214,000 copies. The Now 26 compilation debuts at number four, selling 208,000 copies; this is the third lowest opening tally for the Now series.
Garth Brooks’ The Ultimate Hits, falls two spots to number five, selling 204,000 copies (which is a 42% sales decline). The Eagles’ Long Road Out of Eden falls four spots to number six, selling 197,000 copies (which is a 45% sales decline).
Led Zeppelin’ two-disc retrospective, Mothership debuts at number seven, selling 136,000 copies; 25% of those were sold digitally. Jay-Z’s American Gangster tumbles seven spots to number eight, selling 131,000 copies (which is a 70% sales decline).
Carrie Underwood’s Carnival Ride falls four positions to number nine, despite a 6% increase; the album sold 113,000 copies). And Chris Brown’s Exclusive falls six spots to number ten, selling 110,000 copies (which is a 63% sales decline).
Album sales are up 17.9% from last week’s to 11.72 million. However, they are down 6.2% from the same week last year.
