Dan Nelson has been chosen as Anthrax’s new lead singer. He met Anthrax guitarist Rob Caggiano a few years ago, and recently contacted the band through their MySpace page.
Anthrax had a reunion tour in 2006 with former lead singer Joey Belladonna, but talks fell through to have him continue with the band after the tour.
The band is currently working on a new album, and will also release two of their albums digitally on Tuesday (Sound of White Noise and Stomp 442).
