Bob Dylan debuts at number one on the Billboard Top 200 album chart with his latest album, Together Through Life. The album sold 125,000 copies in its first week.
The Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack holds steady at number two, selling 86,000 copies (which is an 18% decrease in sales from last week). Rascal Flatts move up one spot to number three with Unstoppable, which sold 53,000 copies (however, this is a 22% sales decrease).
Rick Ross’ Deeper Than Rap falls three spots to number four, selling 51,000 copies (which is a 67.5% sales decline from last week). Lady GaGa’s The Fame moves up two spots to number five, selling 40,000 copies (which is a 0.6% increase in sales).
The Twilight soundtrack holds steady at number six, selling 35,000 copies (which is a 14% decrease in sales from last week). The NOW! That’s What I Call Music Volume 30 compilation album moves up to spots to number seven, selling 33,000 copies (which is a 10% decrease in sales).
Heaven & Hell debut at number eight with The Devil You Know, which sold 30,000 copies in its first week. Taylor Swift moves up to number nine with Fearless, which sold 29,000 copies (which is a 1% increase in sales from last week). The Playing for Change compilation album debuts at number ten, selling 26,000 copies.
This week’s sales (6.172 million) are down 0.6% from last week, and down 18.3% compared to the same week last year.
