Danity Kane debuts at the top of the Billboard Top 200 album chart with their second album, Welcome to the Dollhouse; the album sold 236,000 copies in its first week.
The NOW 27 compilation album holds steady at number two, selling 170,000 copies (which is a 1% sales increase from last week). Rick Ross’ Trilla falls two spots to number three, selling 90,000 copies (which is a 54% sales decrease).
Flo Rida debuts at number four with Mail on Sunday, selling 86,000 copies. Jackson Johnson falls one spot to number five with Sleep Through the Static, which sold 67,000 copies (however, this is a 21% sales increase from last week).
Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana 2 / Meet Miley Cyrus jumps up ten spots to number six, selling 61,000 copies (which is a 137% sales increase). Snoop Dogg’s Ego Trippin’ falls four spots to number seven, selling 57,000 copies (which is a 58% sales decrease from last week).
Taylor Swift’s self-titled album moves up four spots to number eight, selling 57,000 copies (which is a 74% sales increase). Sara Bareilles’ Little Voice falls two spots to number nine, selling 55,000 copies; however, this is a 38% sales increase from last week. Miley Cyrus makes another appearance in the top ten, as The Best of Both Worlds Concert holds steady at number ten, selling 51,000 copies (which is a 48% sales increase from last week).
This wee’s album sales (8.83 million) are up 11.3% over last week; however, this number is a 1.1% decrease compared to sales this week last year.
