Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV debuts at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album sold 964,000 copies in its first week of release.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ I’m With You debuts at number two, selling 229,000 copies in its first week of release. Adele’s 21 holds steady at number three, selling 154,000 copies (this is an 88% increase in sales from last week).

Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne falls two spots to number four, selling 80,000 copies; this is a 16% decrease in sales. David Guetta’s Nothing But the Beat debuts at number five, selling 58,000 copies in its first week of release.

Jake Owen’s Barefoot Blue Jean Night debuts at number six, selling 55,000 copies in its first week of release. Beyonce’s 4 re-enters the top ten at number seven, selling 39,000 copies (which is an 87% increase in sales).

The Game’s The R.E.D. Album falls seven spots to number eight, selling 39,000 copies; this is a 60% decline in sales from last week. Barbra Streisand’s What Matters Most falls five spots to number nine, selling 37,000 copies (which is a 46% decrease in sales). The Now That’s What I Call Music Volume 39 compilation album falls four spots to number ten, selling 36,000 copies; this is an 18% decrease in sales from last week.

This week’s album sales (6.65 million units) are up 29% compared to last week, and up 27% compared to the same week last year.

Jay-Z and Kanye West Stay at Number One on the Billboard 200

Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne spends a second at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart. The album sold 177,000 copies, which is a 59% sales decline from last week.

Adele’s 21 moves back up two spots to number two, selling 80,000 copies; this is a 10% increase in sales. The Now That’s What I Call Music Volume 39 compilation album holds steady at number three, selling 63,000 copies (which is a 42% decrease in sales from last week).

Luke Bryan’s Tailgates & Tanlines falls two spots to number four, selling 53,000 copies; this is a 64% decline in sales. Jason Aldean’s My Kinda Party moves up one spot to number five, selling 37,000 copies (which is a 5% increase in sales from last week).

Eli Young Band’s Life at Best debuts at number six, selling 35,000 copies in its first week of release. Eric Church’s Chief falls two spots to number seven, selling 31,000 copies; this is a 14% decrease in sales.

Blue October’s Any Man in America debuts at number eight, selling 27,000 copies in its first week of release. Beyonce’s 4 falls two spots to number nine, selling 25,000 copies (which is a 6% decrease in sales from last week). The Kidz Bop 20 compilation album holds steady at number ten, selling 24,000 copies; this is a 4% decrease in sales.

This week’s album sales (5.4 million units) are down 10% compared to last week, but up 5% compared to the same week last year.

This week’s album sales (5.96 million units) are up 5% from last week, and up 20% compared to the same week last year.

Adele Spends 12th Week on Top of the Billboard 200 Chart

Adele’s 21 spends a twelfth non-consecutive week on top of the Billboard 200 album chart. The album sold 76,000 copies, which is an 8% decrease in sales from last week.

Eric Church’s Chief falls one spot to number two, selling 53,000 copies; this is a 63% decline in sales. Trace Adkins’ Proud to Be Here debuts at number three, selling 47,000 copies in its first week of release.

Mat Kearney’s Young Love debuts at number four, selling 44,000 copies in its first week of release. The Victorious soundtrack debuts at number five, selling 41,000 copies in its first week of release.

Jason Aldean’s My Kinda Party falls two spots to number six, selling 41,000 copies (which is only a 1% decrease in sales from last week). The Kidz Bop 20 compilation album falls one spot to number seven, selling 36,000 copies, which is a 5% decrease in sales.

Beyonce’s 4 falls three spots to number eight, selling 34,000 copies; this is a 16% decrease in sales from last week. The Slow Grind compilation album debuts at number nine, selling 32,000 copies in its first week of release. Blake Shelton’s Red River Blue falls two spots to number ten, selling 26,000 copies; this is a 17% decrease in sales from last week.

This week’s album sales (5.67 million units) are down 2% compared to last week, but up 8% compared to the same week last year.

Joss Stone’s LP1 debuts at number nine, selling 30,000 copies in its first week of release. Bad Meets Evil’s Hell: The Sequel re-enters the top ten at number ten, selling 26,000 copies; however, this is a 9% decrease in sales.

This week’s album sales (5.79 million units) are up 3% compared to last week, and up 11% compared to the same week last year.

Adele’s 21 moves up two spots to return to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 album chart for an 11th non-consecutive week at the top of the chart. The album sold 77,000 copies, and this is a 1% increase in sales from last week.

Blake Shelton’s Red River Blue falls five spots to number six, selling 47,000 copies (which is a 60% decline in sales). 311′s Universal Pulse debuts at number seven, selling 46,000 copies in its first week of release.

Jason Aldean’s My Kinda Party falls one spot to number eight, selling 43,000 copies; however, this is a 2% increase in sales from last week. In the wake of the passing of Amy Winehouse, her Back to Black album re-enters the top ten at number nine, selling 37,000 copies (this is a 3,140% increase in sales). Selena Gomez & the Scene’s When The Sun Goes Down holds steady at number ten, selling 28,000 copies; this is a 12% decrease in sales from last week.

This week’s album sales (5.62 million units) are up 1% from last week, and up 6% compared to the same week last year.
